Hail

Hail thee mountains strewn with ire

Bless’d with mirth and healing fire

How the Heavens a sinner please

How the Heavens still grant us peace

Hail thee winds and storms and seas

Languid shores and whistling trees

Thy sweet tunes our hearts desire

While we glow with lustrous lire

Hail thee thunder loud and clear

Crackling rump of the lightning fair

Hail thy boom through cloud, through air

Sent by Heaven to please us men

Hail thee vegetative earth

Glazen mounds of brilliant dirt

Thy good works the living attest

Home to those who deathly rest

Hail thee Heaven of glorious light

Holy Throne of our Master bright

Hail thee, Word of now and then

Spoke to being to please us men.
